Obviously there's no sign yet of the Nokia 7650 being available in serious numbers.
Strategy Analytics recently claimed that Nokia believes it will be able to add two points to its market share after shipping the 7650. So how many points should Sony Ericsson add for being able to supply the T68i now, one wonders?
Somewhat surprisingly T-Mobile is asking subscribers for an additional £20 per month for a maximum 10Mb of data storage. Which makes T-Mobile UK one of the most expensive MMS services in Europe. Users do, however, have unlimited access to their Picture Messaging Centre on the web, including the image gallery.
It's also possible to send MMS messages to non-handset users who receive a Web address, a user ID and password to access the picture message on the web. Users' MMS addresses take the form of +447956xxxxxx@pm.t-mobile.co.uk.
Incidentally, existing owners of T68 handsets who need to upgrade their handsets to support MMS can find their nearest Ericsson service location point in the UK by dialling 08705 237 237.
