Kustom PC shop powered by Opel Astra

Literally
Tuesday, 4 July 2006, 14:33
A CHAP from a nice KustomPCs shop managed to run his humble store with power provided by an Opel Astra. He put together a few things and via a 800W 12v DC to 230 V converter he managed to power the Kustom shop on an Astra.

The car managed to power an internal server, two hubs, a router and a laptop, all in order to download the orders and send the merchandise to the customers on the same day. The storefolk also wanted to see their website on the net.

It is interesting to know that you can power a shop with a lot of IT stuff inside on a car and a car engine. Where there's a will there is always a way and here is the link to this electrical, IT, car-powered success.

Next time kustompcs.co.uk web site disappears it might mean that the chaps run out of gas. ยต
