Microsoft poised to outline security plans

Security Enterprise anti-spyware tool in the offing

MICROSOFT IS about to announce an update to its security strategy and security product plans.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and security VP Mike Nash touch down in Germany tomorrow to talk about, among other things, the company's forthcoming enterprise anti-spyware offering. There's been a consumer spyware product in development since January, and now a corporate version seems on the cards, offering management and deployment support.

No delivery time has yet been set for the enterprise product. In fact Microsoft seems highly unwilling to give anything away in advance of tomorrow. µ
