Blogging is toast, Gartner reckons

More boggers gone than arriving
Thursday, 14 December 2006, 07:21
THE number of people who write in their bogs will peak during the middle of next year, according to bean counters at Gartner.

The Big G said that during the middle of next year the number of bogs will level out at about 100 million.

200 million boggers are already ex-boggers, said Gartner in one of its predictive moments yesterday.

Gartner is not knocking bogging per se, and it's not gonna go away. It appears bogging will only become the "norm" for those to whom normal is defined as writing what they did in their holidays for the edification of others.
