Both firms asked the judge to give the go-ahead on that in mid January, as we reported here.
Some of the firms subpoenad by AMD had declined to provide documents, emails and other material to the court because they had feared they might breach their legal obligations to Intel.
The Honourable Joseph J. Farnan Jr ordered the waiver of contractual non disclosure provisions, and also signed notices of service for production of documents and "things" by Intel and by AMD last week.
It's unclear whether all of these "things" will be made available for the public to pore over - typically in such cases some information is held by the court under seal, until such times as either a case comes to court or is settled.
Those "things" number 218 and Kelly J. Kuchta, a senior consultant and the owner of Forensics Consulting Solutions LLC has been retained by AMD. This document is of some interest to all corporations and companies, we suspect.
No doubt it is also of interest to the legion of plaintiffs who are following on the coat tails of all this paperwork and activity. The number of those plaintiffs is so great now that we've lost count. µ
