Weekly Folly
Seti team Started off the week with Spinola's usual boasting. And there was a fair bit of work unit discussion,
as if anyone cared. Still no one has even approached SDMYHIENEY. BTW for those who wondered the gray boxen on top of
the 450's is a 214 or a 219. Odd box, probably from some house of geeks that Sun bought outright, with the change
Gnashers found in his couch. There was a brief punk rock discussion, and what Mrs. Pinkish Hue Barron has to go through
at home to check her e-mail. Late in the week I pulled a Non-sequitor looking for a biologist. The end result was a lot
of links to some seriously creepy creatures. Faint of heart beware.
SOTD Started out with a bit of that nonsense wibble between your typical Spinola drunken ramblings, and Gazpacho's weakly [sic] rants over what the rest of us had forgotten days earlier. Then Promethea posted one of those stupid question test thingy links, one we've had two or three times before I might add, and that kept us occupied for a while. Kenny was the only truly evil one, or so we thought. Then Spinola pointed out that Josh wasn't the only one with that particular genetic makeup. A thought that keeps me up most nights now. Sure to keep me away from London. I thought I had a 1 in 7 million chance of meeting one, 1 in 1 million is just to close to even odds for my liking.
Big Gun Silly Picture Started off promising, talking about airplanes and helicopters, and the illegitimate offspring thereof. Then for some unfathomed reason Das Dr. spent a drunken evening e-mailing crap musician songs around the wibble. Which then lead to one of those seriously redundant discussions about Winders, and it's proprietary formats. Point of note near the end was SDMYHIENEY learning that doing work in a pub is actually productive. Something that the two senior citizens at the Inq have known for years, and I have for a few months now.
Star Wars EpII Quite frankly could he have pulled a good movie out of the lead in of Episode I. I just hope the third is bearable, kind of hard, knowing the ending. Darth with permanent hat head, Obi retiring to Arizona, Yoda to Florida, etc For the most part the whole thread made about as much sense as Episode I, there was a rather keen bit at post 26, even if it was a Kenny post.
Moby 18 So Spinola likes Moby and Zappa. If you're a musician and Spinola says he likes you, your taking yourself way too seriously.
Should Semi-cool retro thing (NEWORIG Started off with the regulars talking about what a prat some newbie was for talking about something so obvious as what a prat Spinola is. Then there was some guff about me disguised as a discussion about hammers. That and TCB's discussion of the Maginot line he has in his backyard to keep the tanks of his tomato plants.
Help BIOS update The Striped Arsed Badger started some geek talk. Wasn't a bad week for that kind of stuff so I won't get too upset. Then again it could have been a bit of geek baiting per the sig, as the question was asked, but no further discussion by the SAB. There was a bunch of crap advise per the usual. Got pretty rough at some point with loads of talk about gigglehurts and Megabitemes. TCB posted some pictures of his sad excuse for a life. Kenny is apparently going to move away from home. He's looking for a potting shed in the Glastonbury area.
I'm tired and sick of this summary crap. We talked wibble for too long and got F'all work done.

Would be nice to be able to send a return bomb. One that actually got the sender....
Well off to the little city. Gonna go down and stand on the street corner with my hands in my pockets watching the wind surfing girls go by. Lord, they are sooooo healthy!!!

I don't know which is worse the giggles or outright laughing. When I made presentations it was imposssible for me
to stay behind a podium.
I was wandering around expounding on what ever and every once in a while there would be hehehe and sometimes laughter. finally someone told me my pants were unzipped. I apologized and told them that usually came with the more expensive seminars under "flashing for fun and profit" or how to bring national attention to your particular group.
