Web site reveals Iraq war stats, so far

Iraqometer tracks the war

DETAILS OF Gulf War II are being tracked on a web site dubbed the "Iraqometer".

The web site claims to provide stats of bombs dropped so far, civilian and coalition casualties, the number of sites where weapons of mass destruction have been discovered, and the cost to each (US) taxpayer of the war so far ($1,300).

The Iraqometer gathers data from a number of news sources and says it is updated three to four times each day.

At the time of writing, according to the site, 37,575 bombs were dropped; civilian casualties amount to 6,055; and coalition fatalities amount to 259. Dead Iraqi soldiers amount to 10,200.
