Firm makes web surveys for mobile users a doddle

Just add a bit of text & pinch of salt
Saturday, 7 April 2007, 13:17
CZECH BASED mobile phone specialist, Wirenode, has launched an instant online survey creation tool called Mobiode. Add the code to your site to gather instant feedback from mobile phone surfers.

The company claims the forms created by Mobiode can be viewed by any browser enabled mobile phone from the earliest WAP 1.0 handsets to the very latest smartphones.

All you need is WAP or XHTML support to view them. The INQ tried it out and the survey worked perfectly.

There's no better way of selling a service than offering a cut-down version of the offering for free. So Wirenode lets you create a sample by going to mobiode.com.

Using a standard Web browser, testers can step through a couple of very easy stages to create a sample survey. Once it's finished and live, Wirenode even lets you review the results and statistics.

In true Blue Peter fashion, point your mobile phone browser to http://insight.mobiode.com to see a survey prepared earlier in less than 10 minutes.

Wirenode is responding to a strong demand from marketeers to discover exactly what genuine mobile phone users actually think. Those who don't possess their own mobile portal can get Wirenode to handle a campaign for them via SMS (text) or WAP Push.

In terms of pricing, Gold users pay a max of €89 (Euros) per month for the full service. Network operators have to contact Wirenode directly.

The company doesn't mention it but Mobiode provides a great way to create an online competition, too. ยต
