There is also a very nice table with S-Specs for CPUs where you can find out which cores support EM64T and which don't.
For example I have product code ending in SL7J5 and it doesn't support EM64T. As the matter of fact, no unit below 3.2 GHz does.
I have visited Gigabyte's site in order to check whether I will be able to plug one of those EM64T CPUs into my mainboard and the answer seems to be YES even without the need for an updated BIOS although they do not mention 3.2 GHz parts (only 3.4 and 3.6 so far) -- see here.
To spare you some trouble from delving through the table:
SL7LA - D0 stepping 3.2 GHz with EM64T
SL7L8 - D0 stepping 3.4 GHz with EM64T
SL7L9 - D0 stepping 3.6 GHz with EM64T
SL7PX - E0 stepping 3.2 GHz with EM64T
SL7PZ - E0 stepping 3.4 GHz with EM64T
SL7NZ - E0 stepping 3.6 GHz with EM64T
SL72P - E0 stepping 3.8 GHz with EM64T
To further confirm that I am not spatting rubbish at you, see here. Read the notes at the bottom.
tigerdirect.com may have some of those but be careful because here is what I asked them some time ago:
"I need extra information about Item # CP2-P4-520 C, CP2-P4-530 C, CP2-P4-540 C (Intel CPU Product codes JM80547PG0721M, JM80547PG0801M, JM80547PG0881M). From Intel PCN (product change notification) I deduced that those CPUs should have EM64T technology enabled. Can you please confirm that? Product is missing the distinguishing letter after speed grade on your web site (it should have E for regular Prescott core, F for EM64T enabled)."
And here is their (lame) reply: "Unfortunately, as the merchandise is neither stored at nor shipped from this facility, it would not be possible for us to specify or guarantee which version/revision of a product one may receive when ordering unless it is so stated in the product description."
What I would like to know is whose responsibility is to fill in exact product information on the web site? This way you might as well end up getting Celerons.
