IT IS FEARED that Florida's traffic system could grind to a halt as an air conditioning failure seems set to disrupt state government computers.

The region's government, which is legendary for having more ancient flat-cap drivers than Norfolk, has lost air conditioning at 11 government complexes and the government's servers.

Since this cpuld knock out traffic management systems, there are fears that the traffic light system will crash. Then the old wrinklies who fought in a World War to keep their drivers' licence long after their eye sight has gone, might drive through more dangerous crossroads than normal.

According to the Pensacola News Journal, the lack of coolness in Florida's government meant the state's main Web page has been up and down throughout the day.

How much worse can it get? ยต
