Nvidia prepares partner conference

NVIDIA is getting ready to start its second Amsterdam-based partner conference. It will call it Ngagement and it is set to start on the coming Tuesday. It turns out that the INQUIRER might just show up at the show to see what's going on as we might accidentally be in the same place at the same time.

Nvidia has to reveal some of its future plans, something to do with G80, as its partners are still in the dark about the future-generation chip. The last rumours we heard include water cooling but we can not confirm it or deny it at this time.

Nvidia also has to tell its partners what the strategy will be for the months to come, as the green company has red-green DAAMIT to fight in the future and that is one heck of a hard task.

The short term looks good for Nvidia, as ATI delayed some chips and Nvidia and Intel got some good graphic people but, in 2007 or later, it won't be easy for Nvidia. We hope that some of the people in the crowd will ask such a question. µ
