ATI's X1950 Pro to cost $199

Nvidia will have to drop

WE LEARNED that the upcoming X1950 PRO based on RV570 chip is going to be cheaper than expected. This card is expected in October and will end up with a juicy price of $199. Nvidia will price its Geforce 7900GS at the same price but Nvidia wants to fight RV560 with this card.

RV570 is a 256 bit memory interface card with 256 or 512MB memory working at 1100 MHz and engine that is suppose to run at a 600MHz or 650MHz core.

Nvidia will have the hard task to fight this one but as it didn't announced anything it will always be able to make some slight changes in its roadmaps to fight this one. µ
