APPLE MESSIAH Steve Jobs has been a bit sick lately but according to US gossip reports it could be a lot worse than anyone thought.
The sultan of smug has been seen parking his motor in a disabled carparks in Palo-Alto much to the horror of Apple fans who believe him to be capable of healing the sick with his beautiful entertainment toys.
Valleywag snapped a picture of his car in the park, which we assume that Apple fanboys everywhere will tell us is as faked as those moon landing photographs.
The Jobs paparazzo who took the snap said that Jobs looked thin but his face was healthy. Not as bad as the face of the disabled person who could not get in and out of the shops because the Jobs Mobile was parked in the spot we guess.
Maybe Steve is so preoccupied about the million or so iPhones that he has flogged with cheap parts that drop 3G connections, or the iPod batteries that catch fire, or the MobileMe service that breaks down so often they have to give it away. All that crippled product is enough to make you start wanting a disabled space, only Steve would actually park in one. µ

Might be fine for him to use that spot, after all many CEOs lack a conscience. Congenital for some I hear, but others lose them along the way.
" in fact a MacLife article a few months back talked about this very thing. You see, at Apple there aren't any executive parking spots, etc. All parking is equal."

with all parking 'equal', there are handicapped spots for.....
This is hardly news, The sultan of smug has been pulling this stunt since the 1980's, In 1985 Steve Wozniak called the Cupertino police pretending to be an Apple exec and gave them the name and phone number of said exec, complaining about the plate-less benz in the handicap spot at Apple's HQ.

@FUD-Alert...

Sorry to burst your iFanboi bubble... you seem so quick to lay yourself down to protect your idol, maybe you should learn a little about the one whom you worship and are so quick to sacrifice yourself over... The only thing wrong with this story is the info it contains has been well known for almost 25 years...
My partner has borrowed a Powerbook G4 as his PC had died, and so far since he has been using it, it has developed dead pixels, and now a permanent line down the screen where it seems the pins/connector inside the case has come loose, as the only way to get the 1cm-wide column back is to bend the actual screen.
In Cali people can actually pay for the privilege of driving without plates. Jobs is know to be one of these people.
Jobs was granted a special dispensation by the CA state DMV to not have a license plate on his car(s) years ago. It's a security issue, and he's not the only ultra-wealthy Californian to take advantage of it.
This is nothing new. It's a well-known fact that Jobs has been using the "vacant" handicapped zones at Apple's lot for many years. It was one of the first gossip lines on his return to Apple in 97.

Doesn't excuses it though.
Of course Steve Jobs doesn't need license plates. Why would he? Everyone knows who he is, right? I have to wonder if he needs a driver's license too, or insurance for that matter? He's a billionaire right? He's self-insured. Many times an entitlement attitude comes from not earning what is received. In his case, it's hubris. He's a legend in his own mind. I guess not even Steve Jobs is immune to his own Reality Distortion Field.

There are no plates on the car because its new. When you buy a car you don't get plates with it, just a piece of paper that's stuck to the windshield. The plates turn up in the mail later.

Disabled plates come in three forms. One is a registration plate with a disabled symbol on it and two are plastic tags that you hang from the mirror (red or blue for temporary or long-term disabled). The plates tend to be only on vehicles that have been modified for physically disabled people, the tags are more convenient because you can switch from car to car.

(If its pancreatic cancer then that's bad news. I'm no Apple/Jobs fanboy but I don't wish that on anyone.)
ummm... you really should do your research. Steve Jobs has ALWAYS done this... in fact a MacLife article a few months back talked about this very thing. You see, at Apple there aren't any executive parking spots, etc. All parking is equal. However, Steve has frequently, for many many years, parked his car in handicapped parking. Apple employees joke about it all the time and have even gone so far as to put "Park Different" notes under his windshield wiper.
In CA, new cars don't come with license plates. One has to wait three months to get them in the mail.
Long-time Steve watchers know that he has been parking in disabled spots for years. Same is true for the missing tags on his car: he has a "special arrangement" with the authorities.
Man Has More Squealing Pall Bearers than Friends? Believe msr. Jobs was decade early in throwing Hammer, yet APPLE is Very Popular. Schools are in LOVE with APPLE & Stephan needs lots of SunShine, Antibiotic cocktail, Aclivior & b balanced complex. Or bettter yet from $$$ standpoint, Make APPLE Computer cases Out of Fibre Weed. Then Eat Hearty. Steve & Mike, What Do You Do with Such Mess?

I'll Put ONE Shiny NEW Penny On Table!

Hmm no license plate and parked in a disabled parking spot. Wouldn't it be funny if Job's got arrested for this? I mean the parking in a disabled spot when you're not sapposed to and driving without a license plate are both only a couple hundred dollar fines most of the time but doing it in a mercedes is asking to get picked on by the cops.
Damn, no license plate? He must know someone at CA's DMV.

Stevie Jobs is just another self-indulgent leftist skank. Taking up a handicapped spot when he can damn well walk, but is such a selfish arse he doesn't think he should....

Good thing Apple's around, though. Otherwise, the emotionally-cripped, self-absorbed artiste types would have to buy the same bland functional PCs as the rest of us. I, for one, would rather those people get to buy their own "special" computers.
It's good to see a celebrity that doesn't feel obligated to make a green statement by driving a Prius.

Enjoy your money, Mr. Jobs, and drive a real luxury/sporty automobile. You deserve it.
You forgot to mention the numerous flakey screens popping up on the portable Apples. My MacBook Pro started developing dark spots (Leopard spots?) and it took a lot of persuading to get it replaced under warranty. Guess what: the replacement screen is now also morphing into a Leopard after less than one year of use! Price quoted for replacement: 559 € ex VAT. I start to understand why Steve is using an AMG-Merc as an über-wheelchair...

its the ishinytoy punters that are handicapped if ya ask me lol :O)

footnote :- hes reported to be suffering from pancreatic cancer.
There are no plates on the car...
Next time make your homework before you try to spread FUD again...
