Microsoft Xbox 360 to be built in China

Well, we'll go to the foot our stairs

A GAGGLE OF the usual suspects will build Xbox 360s for Microsoft, the firm said today.

Celestica, Wistron and Flextronics will build the console and all of the factories are in mainland China, in the Pearl River Delta area.

All three companies are specialist manufacturers and are used by many PC firms. Wistron is a manufacturing unit spun off by Taiwanese giant Acer.

Is there anything that isn't manufactured in China any more? [Don't answer that, Ed.] ยต
