Dell's Axim PDAs to launch 25th November

Cheaper one $199

THE PDA DIVISION at Dell is obviously a leakier sieve than HP, as more details emerge of the Axim PDAs it is now expected to introduce this month.

Information Week talks of two models using the Axim name, one at $299 and one at $199, and both of which use the StrongARM chip.

As revealed here early October, one has 64MB of memory, both have removable rechargeable batteries, and both are firmly aimed at knocking the stuffing out of HP's Ipaq range.

IW says the units will start shipping on the 25th of November and $199 seems an affordable price to us, for the low end model.

Here's what a French site said about the PDAs, what we said about the PDA in early October and what Info Week said yesterday. ยต
