Tue Jun 20 2006, 11:42
OPERA SOFTWARE has released version 9 of its PC web browser Opera.

The browser boasts a number of enhancements, the firm reckons. It's faster, more secure and smarter than before says Opera's CEO, Jon S. von Tetzchner.

"Increased speed, new Web standards support and innovative features such as widgets and BitTorrent," are all part of the new offering he proclaimed.

The integration of BitTorrent into the browser will do doubt annoy some.

You can download the browser for Windows, Mac, Linux and other platforms from Opera.com here. µ
