Weekly Folly
Right now you bloody lot with your bloody sigs. Like Frnht with his smug little sig sponsored by the rainbow coalition. And Tamealien, Voice of Jeff my ass, getting a little above ourselves aren't we. Well now you've all done it. Now I can't copy and paste from the forum into Word. It's bad enough someone left some food (or was it cheap cameras) out and we seem to be overrun with Newbies.

2000/XP Connection sharing... Thanks Tigger, it's not like we had enough techno mumbo jumbo this week. You've got partake in a little recreational impossibilities. Tigger found his problems in 14 posts and 2 hours. As usual when you have a problem with Winders, just click around until something works. But then you get to get everyone talking about firewalls this, and firewalls that. Proxies, and the East India Company. Naptime here.

Kodak Camera Cock-up HOLY KRAP! What in the hell happened here? Apparently someone on the front page wrote some bloody story about some screw up over in the Kodachk-min-nien-bitte website, and everyone, their dog, Brother, sister and Bob's Uncle wanted to talk about it. Suffice to say, the deal was a 300lb plus camera for 100lbs, those that ordered it and didn't get it were upset, those not fast enough to order it told em to stop whining. There was a bit of legal jargon, with Alex even bringing in the Girlfriend to the argument, in between games of Tetris. More newbies than you can shake a thermonuclear rail gun at.

Anyone care to expand? No. Our lawyers will be in touch. And we haven't fed em in days.

Al Qiada Prisoners.. Cuba, Cuba, Cuba. If I grow a long smelly beard can I run a country? Quoting Flashy "How come the US have a prison in Cuba?" Well if you were going to build a prison somewhere, wouldn't that be the place? Just a bunch of political drivel for the most part. The Grumpy Tigger took us of topic midway bitching about radio stations, which oddly enough is Castro's major complaint as well, when last year we started broadcasting 24 hours of the Spice girls on all the FM bands into Cuba. Then Mikey brought us back on looking for a sunny vacation in the land of the setting star. The Grumpy old Spinola regaled us with his visit there. Reckon he liked it because of the cheap Rum. Shove enough of that down his gullet and he'd be happy in Liverpool, or Toledo. On the 12th Frnht tried typed "ed: Removed bollox" And took Delphi down completely for 4 hours. We were firmly off topic at this point, until Flashman had to come back and stir the pot.

January Meeting Round and round still yet. Think we have a date, still working on a venue. And we can't have a beg off excuse from Spinola until we have that. Oh wait we have a venue. That gives Andrew 12 days left to come up with an excuse. Thread is currently jumbled with more Kodachk-min-nien-bitte talk, some Euro babble, and airports we've known.

I've an old Kodak portable printer that has a power brick as big as the printer. Pretty neat old ink jet. The roller opens up and gobbles up six C cells and will print about 50 sheets in fast/cheap mode. The ink cartridge comes in a container that looks like those little cup containers of fake cream one gets at the local grease pit and hamburger factory.

Aw come on! All that journalistic brain power, you should be able to come up with the ideal phrase!

Something that evokes a strong feeling of truth even with the stronger stench of, as Sid sed, bull sh1t. Spose a person have to end doing like Kodak and some of them outfits and making up a name and then marketing it as the "Word". Hurts my head, brain corpusuckles and sinsaps are burning..
