Qualcomm buys Qualphone (no relation)

CDMA GIANT Qualcomm said it has bought San Diego firm Qualphone to foster its efforts in push 3G wireless worldwide.

It will pay $18 million in cash for Qualphone, which makes IP based multimedia subsystems software for mobile gizmos and testing services. ยต
