Asus calls its board A8V-E Deluxe - so no surprises there. The board is packed with one PCI Express x16, one PCI Express x1×2 threes PCI, and four memory slots. Asus provides two LAN cards one of them Marvell, one Gb LAN/WLAN. The board supports Firewire and Serial ATA RAID. It's packed with features and it should be for $170+.
Asus is also making a K8T890 PRO board and it should come later. It's interesting to note that the K8T890 Pro supports two graphic slots and might bring SLI to you. We don't know how possiblu can VIA validate it but I guess there is a way.
The Gigabyte board named GA-K8VT890-9 and comes in January 2005. You can check it out here. µ
