Nintendo Revolution in for a name change

THE RUMOUR mill is churning out a theory that the entertainment gear maker Nintendo is thinking of changing the name of the much awaited next generation console.

For ages the Nintendo effort has been called "Revolution" and everyone assumed that this would be the title it hit the shops under.

However, according to Computer and Videogames, this week the console will get a new name.

Word on the straße is that Nintendo president Saturo Iwata will spill the beans at the annual Game Developers Conference keynote speech on Thursday. He might also confirm or deny a rumour that the not to be called Revolution might even hit the shops in June.
