THANKS TO faithful reader Zohar Lee who pointed me to an even cheaper Radeon 9800 Pro from no other than ebuyer. At £68.97+VAT, this card - a Sapphire Atlantis model 21016-00-20 - seems to be the perfect entry level candidate card. It is actually a 256-bit model, not the SE crappy ones you'd normally find. It has been overclocked to 472/370 air by some reviewers. But that's not all. Use Adrian Rojaks Pot guide to converting that lil' baby to a 9800XT and you're off to a real surprise.

Looking for a cheapo Geforce 6800GT in UK as Tom who emailed me yesterday. Then try your luck at ebuyer.com. They have some stock of the Asus V9999GT/TD which is a Geforce 6800GT with 128MB DDR3 memory, AGP8X compatible and with DVI and TVO. Icing on the cake is that retail box. Now there is a debate going on whether it has 16 or 12 pipelines. See in the reviews on ebuyer to make up your mind. £170.17+VAT only.

I'd love to have a chance to test this 2.1 speaker system from Bossecomputers. This Ozaki DT555b is one of the few wireless speakers on the market. It has an effective 27W power which should be enough for most of us. It seems to have a glossy finished and packs in two headphones connectors as well as a wired controller. Anyone knows where I can get them?

Ecost is selling some cool looking Sennheiser RS 45 wireless RF system with the Open Aire Supraural headphones - makes your ears sticky in summer though. With two years warranty and the Sennheiser brand behnd it, you're sure that they won't let you down. Only $39, professionally refurbished by the manufacturer.

Also from ecost is that $299 colour laser printer from Konica, the Magicolor 2400W. There's a $100 mail in rebate to be used though. The printer features a remarkable 2400x600dpi resolution and can print up to 20 black A4 pages per minutes and five PPM in colour. It is noticeably smaller than most colour printers and has toner cartridges lasting more than the average colour laser printer. A winner for that price.

Still another cheap 30-inch LCD TV this time from Kreisen, a very cheap $1069 after mail in rebate. With a 450:1 contrast ratio, a silver/black finish as well as a XGA resolution of 1280x768, it is a very good deal. HDTV ready, build in speakers as well as stacks of IOs and one tuner. µ
