AMD releases Catalyst 7.1 driver for Vista

Both 32-bit and 64-bit
Tue Jan 30 2007, 12:06
ATI AMD HAS RELEASED its official drivers for both Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.

On the more interesting Vista side, the company has developed stable drivers not just for the 32-bit, but also the 64-bit version. We know that will make at least one person happy.

We have just downloaded and tried 64-bit version of the driver and it works with no issues or BSODs, for that matter.

Nvidia, meanwhile, even though it has already shipped bundles of DirectX 10 hardware has threatened threatened a small enthusiast web-site with legal after it dared to leak its Vista drivers.

If you own ATI/AMD graphics hardware and want to run Windows Vista in your preffered version, you can freely download the full performance driver using our L'Inq. ยต
