Manhunt 2 sales suspended worldwide

Take two throws in the towel
Fri Jun 22 2007, 16:24
VIOLENT VIDEO GAME Manhunt 2, banned in Blighty and Ireland, touted by the company chairman as being a "work of art" has been withdrawn from sale.

Take-Two said it continued to stand behind "this extraordinary game" which it must have spent a fortune on designing.

However now it seems that the game must go back to the drawing board and come up with something a bit less nasty.

It is fairly likely that there will be some fall-out over this. Shareholders at Take-Two are getting a mite tetchy of late and are probably going to be more violent than any game the outfit makes. µ
