Wed Jun 23 2004, 11:59
JAPANESE FIRM Sharp said it will start selling a range of DVD recorders from July, one of which will have a 400GB hard drive.

The firm is introducing five models altogether over the next few months, with its DVHR450 and DVHR400 going on sale in August.

The 400GB model, claimed Sharp, will allow around 34 hours of digital hi-vision recordings.

The recording time will vary on which type of picture will be recorded, however.

The DV-HRD200 includes a built in 110 degree comms high definition tuner. No prices or for any of the products are available yet. µ
