One terabyte foundation
Thursday, 7 June 2007, 14:54
HDD FIRM Seagate said it has started volume shipping its first 250GB 3.5-inch drive which uses perpendicular recording tech.

The one disk Barracuda breaks records on power consumption, sound and performance for desktop machines, claimed Seagate.

The 7200.10 includes a S-ATA 3Gb/s interface and will pave the way for one terabyte (TB) drives for desktop and enterprise HDDs.

Seagate did not indicate how much the drives will cost when you're able to buy them in shops. ยต
