Dell accused of hiding billion dollar Intel kickbacks

A CLASS ACTION launched against Dell accuses it of inflating its profits by hiding Intel quarterly rebates.
The Wall Street Journal said that a 251 page complaint was filed on Wednesday, alleging Dell sometimes collected $1 billion "secret" and "illegal" kickbacks to prevent it using other X86 suppliers.
The Journal said Intel absolutely denies the allegations, while Dell is making no comment. The complaint further alleges only 15 people at Dell knew about the payments. Intel told the Journal some of the allegations were "just made up". µ
