Cheesecam takes the biscuit

Wonders of the wibble

ALMOST ANYTHING'S possible on the World Wide Wibble, and now - thanks to pioneering West Country farmers - you can watch a bunch of cheese.

That's literally cheese. A group of farmers have set up CheddarVision for those of you who like cheese so much you want to look at it all day. Through your PC. A webcam is pointed at a lump of cheddar as it matures, and has been for quite some time.

The website was created in late December last year and has had over 400,000 visits. After literally months of sitting around, being cheese-like, it looks like something's set to happen on the CheeseCam - the unnamed Cheddar's first ever quality check.

Tom, genius farmer behind CheddarVision, is astounded by the success of his website: "The interest in the cheese is incredible. I'm part of the Westcountry Farmhouse Cheesemakers co-operative and we often meet up to chew the cud," he punned.

So, uh, if you want to see some cheese being fiddled with, head on over to CheddarVision on the 29th. µ
