Thursday, 7 August 2003, 10:24
IN THE RACE TO see just how tiny you can make Windows, a chap at Msbetas.net claims he's got the operating environment down to under 5MB.

That follows an article we wrote last week about Richard James who shrunk the OS to under 10MB.

See Man shrinks Windows 95 to under 10MB.

Now a chap calling himself BOFH (no relation) at Msbetas.net says he's created the first 5MB bootable, registry editable, command prompt and user driven version of Windows 95.

He's an article as well as screenshots about his achievement and you can read all about it by clicking over over here. ยต
