alt='daffs' SMALL TEXAN FIRM BIPS has released an Opteron based workstation which combines case and a 23-inch LCD screen into one unit, which it's showing off at Comdex 2003.

The machine, called NOW, uses a dual Opteron based on a Thunder K8W and supports 16GB of memory, has four PCI-X and one PCI slot, two Firewire ports, four S-ATA, two IDE, LAN gigabit, and audio.

It can use up to four removable hard drives, has RAID 5, includes 160GB tape backup, and also supports SCSI Ultra 320. The machine has five cooling fans.

It looks a lot like this picture - we don't know the price. µ
