Hales hunts for Intel club, ends up at Arafat's funeral

INTREPID INQ hack Paul Hales set off to find Intel's Computer Club in Ramallah, Palestine but found himself caught up in Yasser Arafat's funeral.

Intel has a number of initiatives to make computers available to the underprivileged, including a Clubhouse in Ramallah, on the West Bank. Some information about that Clubhouse is here.

Said Hales: "When Yasser went, everything closed down for three days, so I never got to Intel's computer club thing".

Instead, he found himself bang in the centre of the Muqata in all the funerary madness. As his pictures below illustrate. µ
