Re: Gilles Bouchard

I would like to announce that Gilles Bouchard has decided to leave Hewlett-Packard, effective October 31. Please note that he will continue to lead the Global Operations workstream until this time. For the past two years, Gilles led HP's Global Operations. As you know, we transitioned the operations teams back into the businesses with the goal to:

* further simplify our operating model;
* drive more accountability to the business units; and
* continue to leverage our global scale.

Gilles has done an outstanding job leading this transition with the majority of the work completed in Q3.

alt='bouchard'Gilles joined HP in 1989 and held a number of senior roles within the Imaging and Printing Group and the Personal Systems Group and also served in a combination role as Chief Information Officer and Global Operations leader. In his current role he made significant progress creating cost savings by leveraging our global scale. We also saw a dramatic improvement in day-to-day execution, stabilizing operations, and increasing customer and channel satisfaction by 20 percent.

His leadership, energy and commitment to customers and employees will be missed. I hope all of you will join me in thanking Gilles for his many contributions to Hewlett-Packard and wishing him the best in his future endeavors.

Mark
