Weekly Folly
the ######## forum. Thermionic posted to discuss the O'Plaice. Just a little ramble until Spinola mentioned a little recreational impossibility. * WE dawdled on a bit about the various semi-antiquated chips we had. d'inq Hermie, and SDM talked a bit about defensive driving in the 21st century. This all lead into a bit of Sci-fi about weapons, and then William Shatner. We ended up the thread that way. Who would have thought Cpt. Kirk would be a big topic for us.

Short joke needed Killler AP was looking to impress some bird with witty comments over the cell phone. A week and 50 posts later we were still semi on topic. Lots of VVVEEERRRRRYYYYY stupid jokes. Opened the weekend with a slight bit of confusion by yours truly, and a somewhat wibbly conversation about educashin. Final bit was centered on HP calculators, and the like. Really, a bunch of posts talking about calculators.

I am bored Gothic Tigger was on the prowl for some time wasting sites. Many useless sites to be found throughout the thread. It is important to note sdm's traveling fashion tips at post 26. Which put us onto a short discussion of leatherman tools. There was a rather lengthy discussion of converting Wales into a theme park, funny I thought it already was. Leatherman made a return experience ended the week with some ISP discussion. Leave it to this lot to fall into some boring geeky talk at the drop of a hat.

Where you at? Mostly what you would expect, a newbie wondering about the various locations of the members. Worth visiting for the Red Herring of the thread.

History of computing questions needed Well after Dr. Spinola's masterful playing of Mastermind; topic the career of the late Frank Zappa, he needed some general trivia question about computers, for round two. I only mention the thread due to its high volume. As far as the thread, the geeks stayed on topic, bunch of stupid questions that are sure to help the Doctor.

Spelling and grammar New Original (who seems to have a lot of free time on his hands lately) posted a thread to give us a hard time about our grammar, or lack thereof. Plenty of on topic twaddle through the first twenty posts. Around post 26 we delved deeply into the grammatical usage of arsebiscuits, leading to a new folder. Right after this we looked into a little cross thread word association, interspersed with some grammar lessons.

Inquirer vs Reg A thread started late last week Inquireing into a little history. The questions were answered quickly, and we derailed the thread on the 13th with a discussion of the Super Prat, which lasted for 45 plus posts. A brief dawble into shaving, and our preferred methods (no response form the ladies on this one) . I'm going through these posts and not finding a whole lot of sense, snese we got lots of, but mostly a lot of babble. Looks like time for a play by play. Well I started the play-by-play, bloody impossible, fifteen people having completely different conversations, newbies popping in on other topics. Theresa Orlowski, more shaving, sub editors, Kats, The Inquirer, Budweiser, Grigsie, back to the Super Prat, and on to Nitrous Oxide. Moved onto various ISP's, various members love life, and ended upon the TV show Third Watch. AL_V had the last word.

AMD's PR system, its not bad at all and Windows product activation - the hidden Both very similar threads, Newbies coming in talking about boring technical type stuff. We took it off topic rather quickly. These threads are notable for the introduction of Rotoploker's Bot. As if our conversation wasn't disjointed enough.

Smoke Bomb The FBI's favorite thread. Don't ask. Lets just say we moved on from SCATA's original request for “a decent smoke bomb, nothing major, just fill a room with a light haze.” The thread ended with discussions pretty far up the periodic table. We kept on topic for 89 posts though. Well sort of.

That's it. That's as far as I go. What is with you people don't you have a life for the love of Jeff. 50 + Threads, and I don't know how many posts. Good thing I quit my job so I could devote all my time to the Summary. ΒΆΒΆ
