MATBE.COM, THE the Belgium website, compares the Core2 Duo - the X6800, the E6600, 6300 and 6700 as well as the T7200. Matbe also overclocks the T7200 and the E6300 to 2.4GHz and the X6800 to 3.66GHz. More benchmarks this time around and more chips as well included from the Sempron 3200+ to the Core Duo T2300. Benchmarks include DiVX and TMPeng compression and much more.

The most extensive Core2 Duo review to date and certainly the one which should put any doubts about the performance of the Core2Duo to rest.

Trusted reviews compares a supercharged 7300GT video card to a plain vanilla model to see whether it is worth buying one of them. The plain version is the eVGA 7300GT with 256MB memory. It has a 350/667MHz Core/mem speed with an aluminium HSF not covering the memory modules. The card overclocks well, but not as well as Inno3d's. The eVGA card though comes with a lifetime warranty and is is part of the Step-up program. What's more. It is SLI compliant.

Sysopt reviews the Zalman CNPS8000 CPU cooler which Thomas Soderstrom presents as a slimfast adept. The HSF is compatible with most recent coolers. It has a 92mm fan size and is made up of copper and aluminium. Interesting stuff includes four heatpipes and a fan speed of up to 3000rpm. Not a bad cooler but you might be put off by a few nagging cons. But its price and top quality construction are definite wins.

Hardwarecentral presents a flexible full sized keyboard to us. The Adesso keyboard is made up of silicon and it costs around £20. You can even use it under water and comes with the usual 109-key setup. Obviously, as the reviewer puts it, it is built first for durability and comfort rather than for performance. I don't think you will be able to type quickly under a shower or with your hands soaked in marmalade. Seasoned typists will need some adaptation, others will find it useful in some extreme situations.

Bjorn3D reports on the Xgear Multimedia gaming headset which will be a real boon should you be looking forward for a calm afternoon with you and your laptop. It is actually a headphone manufactured by none other than XFX, the Nvidia card maker. It comes with a build in bass vibration feature as well as a long and flexible microphone boom. As you can guess, the build quality is excellent and it is not as expensive as some could think.

Neoseeker wonders whether the Asus M2N-32SLI Deluxe is not one of the best motherboards that has graced its benches. The God board as it is now known in Neoseeker land still comes with the large heatsinks and heatpipes and much more. It overclocks as hell although there are some rough edges like an sub par audio codec. Almost flawless product. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
