WE'RE TRYING to convince resellers in this column to offer freebies or additional discounts to our readers. If you do buy from any of the guys listed here, just tell them that you come from theinquirer's daily buy column. And, resellers or readers alike, if you have some hot and spicy deals. Send me a line.

One reader sent me a linQ to the 3Com Officeconnect ADSL Wireless 802.11g router. At £29.99+VAT, it comes with a lifetime warranty, it also comes with a four-port switch plus a firewall, an ADSL modem and an AP. Nice deal, one of the cheapest "branded" ADSL Wireless 11g router.

Someone is selling a Fujitsu Siemens Teamserver barebone server for only £80. It has a Pentium III Xeon processor, out of eight, but not HDD or RAM. There is a CDROM, a floppy and a power cable. it supports up to 32GB memory.

Further down the site, a Compaq ML310 Small Business Server is on sale for £120. That's cheaper than Ebay. It comes with a 2GHz P4 CPU, 256MB memory, a 40GB HDD, onboard NIC, sound card, CDROM, onboard video etc. It is a cracking offer even if only the Base unit is on sale.

An even better offer comes in the form of an Intel Celeron 1.8GHz server for only £120. With two 80m Arctic Cool Silent Fans controlled by onboard sensors, a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card, a CDROM and 1GB PC133 memory, you can't go wrong, can you. The Processor is a Northwood core while the motherboard is a QDI Platinix model.

Last but certainly not least, there's a laser printer on sale for only £20. The Samsung ML85 is a wonderful 600dpi 8 pages per minute monochrome. You'll have to pick it up in south west london. It has 10MB internal memory and the owner will give all the manuals, drivers, receipt and even the cables which some high street stores sell for £9.99. There's a photo on the web page if you want to see the printer's condition. µ
