President of Intel China to resign

INTEL CHINA'S president Chen Weiding will resign effective March 31st, several of the company's staff have confirmed.

Chen is an 18-year Intel veteran who has been based in China for 12 years. His current portfolio is said to include Intel's government affairs, corporate social responsibility and educational outreach.

Ge Jun, a legal consultant with Intel China, is anticipated to take over Chen's government liaison responsibilities temporarily.

Intel China has not made an official announcement and Chen's successor has not been identified. ยต
