A READER sent us a rather interesting link which shows that the company named after the Dell family has a notebook with no less than 1GB Nvidia Geforce Go 6800 Ultra graphics card.

In case Dell rejigs its link we have a snap of the XPS flagship gaming notebook model M170 that features no more and no less than one gigabyte of graphic memory. We would not be surprised if Dell said 512MB, but now that is the maximum memory that you will see on Nvidia or ATI cards even on a desktop. Nvidia has only a few 6800 Ultra cards with 512MB of memory and it's yet to announce its 512MB version of 7800 GTX card.

We are still far from 1024MB graphic memory for desktops and it's certainly going to take even more to see those kinds of graphic cards on notebooks.

If we are wrong than it's the most super duper mobile card that exists and we endorse you to go for it if you like mobile gaming. And Dell notebooks.

So here's Dell's latest offering and 1024 MB graphic card here and we have a screenshot in case Dell change it. µ
