Big Five moan to EU about Microsoft Vista

But is Big Blue behind it?
Mon Jan 29 2007, 15:05
A GROUP calling itself the European Committee for Interoperable Systems (ECIS) sent a snottogram to the European Commission alleging Microsoft Vista repeats previous antitrust actions.

The group is made up of IBM, Sun, Adobe, Nokia and Real Networks. The EC is taking the complaint seriously, it appears.

A rep from ECIS was asked on BBC Radio 4 earlier today whether it was just a front for Big Blue which had its own reasons for fighting Microsoft and Vista.

That rep staunchly denied such an allegation. µ
