Even though some legal entanglements are currently happening, we've heard that the Hartford Computer Group has now acquired the Visiontek brand.
This means that from now on Hartford will own both the Visiontek and XTASY brands -- the firm said it was acquired from High Ridge Partners, the trustee-assignee for the benefit of the creditors of the former Visiontek, LLC.
Many customers may not notice the difference but will remember the brand names. Hartford is aware that Visiontek and Xtasy are extremely popular brands in the USA, as Visiontek was the former number one Nvidia partner, even making reference design cards the first to ship new products.
The New Visiontek will be operated as a division within the Hartford Computer Group and is planning to announce a new line of memory modules, flash memory cards, and graphics cards in the coming weeks. The new VisionTek have number of graphic and memory related products in development for PC users that means that there is a big chance that we will soon see some new cards and recorders with sold as Visiontek products.
More importantly, Hartford said it is honouring the Xtasy retail product warranties and will also ensure outstanding retail consumer rebates are fulfilled. ยต
