Amazon seeks to expand kids' education

Oh Uncle Bulgaria! Yes! Yes! YES!

ELECTRIC BOOKSHOP, Amazon, has a nifty mechanism for showing you items you might like based on your previous purchases and searches. Were one, for example, be so bold as to buy a book on 19th Century narrow gauge steam locomotives, one might also be furnished with details of publications concerning Victorian inventors and entrepreneurs.

But more basic searches sometimes turn up more unexpected, pliant and nubile treasures, possibly completely unconnected with the topic in hand.

Should one instigate a search on Google's UK site for DVDs about those loveable, cuddly, furry creatures, the Wombles, one might express a certain degree of surprise and/or delight at the eleventh item on Amazon's list of recommendations.

Poor AT

He was a
very nice lad...
He used to
cut the grass and such at lunch time.

I expect Mr. Hales does eschew those loveable, cuddly, furry and swarthy sorts such as the likes there is Dr. Spinola, and his "Kindly Go Away" doctrines.

So Andrew Thomas has been fired, yet again. Perhaps he can find gainful somewhere up-and-coming such as: Spinola International (Cayman Islands) plc. llc. e=mc ®. But hobo-ing the Ffestiniog Railway is a more likely scenario. Pity. Incomptens Nervosa Technicii Cretinal (INTC) is more rampant than we had suspected: about as rampant as a red dragon. No body else knows their way around Amazon servers, and the wild bush in the West, as well as Andrew Thomas.
We're left to grope alone.
