Gates will be unveiling what
Microsoft labels the future of Windows computing, alongside a Windows Home Concept PC which was developed with HP's
help. The Windows Home Concept is a prototype featuring next gen hardware and software, apparently designed to deliver
the "ultimate" entertainment and communication experience. Hmm, ok.
Also on show will be Windows 64-bit for AMD and Intel, which isn't scheduled for release until the 4th quarter, according to a statement from Microsoft. As well as Windows 64-bit for iAMD, Gates is promising to give people a glimpse of the Longhorn technology - the updated developer code for manufacturers should be on show, the statement added. µ
