Panasonic recalls defective batteries

But a small number
Tuesday, 5 September 2006, 15:41
ANOTHER LAPTOP vendor recalled some battery packs - this time it's Matsushita Panasonic. But the recall is small compared to Dell and Sony's massive recall - it's 6,000 units and the firm didn't say who made them, according to the Wall Street Journal. The notebooks apply to the CF-W4G machines manufactured last year in April and May.
