Asus graphics card offerings and Athlon 2200+ reviewed

THE DARK TWEAKER has posted a review of AMD's 0.13 micron Athlon XP 2200+ Thoroughbred which you can find here. (It's in German though).

For those on a more constrained budget, Digit Life has posted a comparison of VIA's C3 against "other low-end processors," including Duron, PIII Celeron, P4 Celeron, and the Athlon XP 1700+. That's over here.

Monster-Hardware has bunged up a ECS K7VTA3 budget motherboard review. Since this is a budget motherboard, the review is short on benchmarks and long on feature discussion, they say. Wibble this way.

They've also got a review of CrazyPC's Lazer LED, which is flexible, easy to mount and "still produces a goodly amount of light". Coo! That's here.

Hardwareluxx has what it says is the first ever review of the new ASUS V8420 Deluxe, here. It's in German though, so here's a bit in translation:
"ASUS´s V8420 Deluxe is not a normal Ti4200 - we found 3.3ns BGA memory on the card, the new A3-stepping of the Geforce 4 Ti-core, we found an 8-layer PCB - so it is clear that this card will perform very well.
