MANY COMPANIES, have finally decided to start talking about Geforce 7300 GT. Gainward, for example, has made a silent card and overclocked the reference design a little.

The card is based on 7300 GT GPU clocked at 400MHz while the memory runs at 750MHz. The card uses 256MB of DDR 2 and comes with a silent FX passive cooler. It has VGA, DVI and S video out.

This card is actually going to give the 7600 GS a run for its money, as the core is clocked at exactly the same speed. The only difference is 50MHz slower memory but I bet it can be overclocked to reach at last 800MHz. Both cards are using the same G73 core.

It is interesting to note that, so far, no one listed 7300 GT cards at its etail stores at least not at the usual places where we look. We expect to see those cards shortly. µ
