Microwaves affect your mood

Aussie shrink delivers dire warning
Wednesday, 30 November 2005, 23:28
AN AUSSIE shrink is warning that electromagnetic 'smog' from mobile phones and microwave ovens could be responsible for everyone feeling a bit depressed.

Michael Berk, of the University of Melbourne, claims to have found a link between the suicide rate and increases geomagnetic storms, triggered by solar flares.

He noticed that whenever there was an increase in solar flares, more Australians wanted to kill themselves. Which is odd because you would think they would be used to the sun by now.

If he is right then it could have grave effects for technology which is heavy on electromagnetic energy. Using your mobile phone could start making you depressed and reheating that pizza in the microwave could just make you want to end it all.

More at the Sydney Morning Herald, if you can be fashed.
