Just noticed that Geizhals, one of the premier German IT price comparator had registered its co.uk domain name. Would that mean that they will have a Blighty service coming soon?

CPUcity is selling an AMD Turion 64 3400+ with 1MB cache for only £165+VAT. That's basically what you would pay for a socket 939 Venice core CPU except that the Turion one is a socket 754. This means that you can expect even socket 754 motherboards to kick ass pretty soon. Scan is selling an Athlon 64 3000+ E3 for a mere £74.99+VAT but OEM version. Hurry up though prices might change without notice. For a boxed version, go to Dabs.com and get it only for £80.98+VAT. Cheapest Venice A64 3000+ processor in US is from Newegg. The OEM version is selling for only $149. Cheap for an o'c champ.

Bigpockets also has big sales going on. They're selling a Freecom (tem # BUR4017)retail boxed dual format, dual layer DVD writer for only £24.67+VAT. Now that's the cheapest price for a DL/DF DVD writer we've seen in UK. Just to remind you that BP is selling 100 unbranded 2x DVD-R blank media for only £9.99 including VAT (tem # DVDR1027-100). µ
