Multi core is the way to go

WE HAD the chance to sit with one of the legends of the IT, co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak.

Woz is one of the most technical lads we ever met and he certainly knows what he is talking about.

When we popped the question of about multi cores, he implied that dual, quad, eight or more cores make perfect sense. This is the way to go in future.

He said that the human brain is sort of multi-cored, as you have many small processors, hundreds of parallel tasks and real multitasking. So even 200 small cores makes sense. This sounds an awful lot like Intel's mini-core approach and we guess this is the way to go in future.

Indeed, the future is definitely multi-threaded with a multi core approach, the legend suggests.
