AMD names Dirk Meyer's replacement

AMD JUST NAMED the replacement for Dirk Meyer. Dirk was named by AMD today. As you might recall, was promoted to President and C OO about a year ago, and his old position as Executive VP of CPG was unfilled until Mario Rivas took over today.

Mario was head of AMD's Office of Strategy Management, an office I didn't really know existed until Mario was promoted away from it. Before that, he was at Philips Semiconductor, something I did know existed.
