Intel confirms channel chip chops

EOL, pray tell
Fri Oct 20 2006, 08:05
WE ALREADY NOTED last month that Intel was slashing prices on existing Netburst processors and now it's decided to tell its channel partners.

The channel is one peg up above hacks - we are always the last to be told of changes and we need careful managing, naturally, like sabre-toothed sheep. Dealers are treated like sabre-toothed goats.

Intel authorised dealers should see authorised distributors offer declines, with the prices changing on October 22nd.

The prices are for boxed Intel chips. This is how it all pans out. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
