ANALYSTS SAY AMD machines outsold Intel machines in shops in America in October.

But the firm, Current Analysis, reckons that Intel will beat up AMD during November, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

AMD outsold Intel desktop PCs in shops although the biggest X86 firm is still ahead on the notebook front, via its Centrino brand.

Nevertheless, AMD has also made inroads on notebooks to the tune of 31.5% share in American shops compared to 20% last June.

AMD has a 67.7% share selling desktop systems in American shops, said the WSJ. ยต
