Hardware Roundup

DIGITLIFE writes the first of our series of SLI motherboards. The Gigabyte K8NJXP-SLI motherboard is crammed with features including two Gigabit controllers and eight SATA ports. The bundle also include a WiFi card and loads of accessories. More here. The same board is on review at PC Stats on a full 14 pages. with loads of benchmarks and photos. The concluding page is entitled a great motherboard with a bright future which leaves no doubt about the reviewer point of view.

SLI motherboard reviews are becoming more common every day passing by. The Asus A8N-SLI deluxe from Hardware-Mag.de is one example. Over 15 pages, you will find more about that SLI motherboard which is one of the better out there.

The DFI Lan Party NF4 SLI-DR nForce 4 SLI motherboard got reviewed thrice in the past few days. The first one is at PC Perspective. It not only performed wonderfully well and outperformed other SLI fairly easily. Read the PCper review here. Hexus opposed it to the Asus A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard and there again, it came out with full points. Hexus writes that it may be the best enthusiast mainboard ever created. Read more here. The third review is part of a four-motherboard round up written by Anandtech where it confronts an Asus board, one from MSI and another from Gigabyte.

Fedup with motherboards? Here are two more reviews from GamePC. The first one checkts the latest PCIe Athlon 64 Chipset - A Radeon Xpress 200, the nForce 4 Ultra, a nForce 4 SLI and a VIA K8T890. Which one is the best? Depends how much money you want to fork out? Game PC also reviews the A8V-E Deluxe which is a K8T890 motherboard apparently designed to fight the nForce4 at the lower part of the high-end.
